Data processing and 3D modeling
During the first PADI Underwater Survey Diver Training Course, on October the 12th, has been organized a workshop for the processing of the recorded data in order to produce a 3D model.
1st PADI Underwater Survey Diver Training Course
During the second weekend of October (2015) has been organized for first time the PADI Underwater Survey Diver Training Course, at Skopelos.
It is a new Distinctive Specialty, which intends to provide the basic knowledge and the appropriate skills at those divers and researchers, which have a special interest in the mapping and the 3D representation of natural and cultural features of the marine environment. By the end of this course, participants are expected to be able to contribute in the preparation and the carrying out of an underwater survey campaign.
