In the below dynamic map can someone see the area of the municipalities of interest (calculated in square meters). Municipalities of interest are those municipalities that contain refugee camps. The number of camps each municipality contain, the number of health system and education infrastructure are included in the attribute table. Some environmental factors about the area such as the range and mean values of elevation and temperature are also displayed and road length (in meters) is shown in every municipality.

In this table, the density of the road network is calculated. The bigger the value is the better the transportation is through the municipality. Transportation is a widespread issue, not only for conducting daily life but also in being able to travel to work or access education and health services – and also in accessing food. Therefore, those areas are preferred amongst the others. Municipalities of Athens and Thessaloniki have a significant difference compared to the other municipalities.
